Parga works best when the town itself gets the first full day, the second day belongs to one real beach side, and Anthousa or the inland extensions only appear if the stay is truly longer.
If the first stretch is short, keep it simple. Walk the harbor, look up toward the castle, take in Panagia from the waterfront and use Kryoneri only if you want the easiest possible swim without turning the whole day into a transfer.
The first full day should belong to Parga itself. Walk through the old town, climb to the castle, let Panagia and the harbor define the view, swim at Kryoneri or Piso Kryoneri if you want water, and keep the evening in town with FILOMILA and the harbor walk.
Valtos is the right second-day move when you want a proper beach session without fully leaving the Parga core behind. It works for swimming, sunbeds, a lighter lunch and an easy return into town later, especially if you want the evening back near the harbor.
Lichnos makes more sense when you want the beach to be the whole day rather than a town-linked extension. Choose it instead of Valtos, not after Valtos, and treat it as the cleaner southbound day if you want a larger bay and more separation from town.
If you have the extra time and the stay already includes a car, open the trip north instead of overloading the first two days. Anthousa, the Ali Pasha Castle side and Sarakiniko read best together, with To Dixty as the natural food stop when the day already belongs to that route.
The inland side can be excellent, but it should replace the north-coast extension or sit on a real extra day of its own. It does not belong inside the same afternoon as Valtos, Lichnos or Anthousa.
Town first, one true beach day second, then only one carefully chosen extension. That structure almost always works better than trying to collect every famous name in the same two afternoons.
